ABOUT THE SCHOOL

– Our coaching program, that is unique to KFTS, guarantees that this commitment and approach can be practically realised.

KFTS is located in the northernmost part of the city and boasts an over 700-m2 school, containing studios, rehearsal rooms, edit-suite facilities, a café, and a fully functioning theatre. The school is easily accessible by public transport and bus; A 4min walk from Nuuks Plads metro st., an 8min walk from Nørrebros Runddelen (5C and 350S), and the 68 bus at Lundtoftegade. It is also next to the Cherry Loop/Green Path/Nørrebrorute cycle path, which travels through much of the city.

DIVERSITY STATEMENT

KFTS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community for its faculty, students, and staff. We encourage diversity in its many forms, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, neurodiversity, and place of origin.

KFTS recognizes that we live and work in an increasingly globalized community and that our students benefit from learning in an environment that recognizes a diversity of opinions and backgrounds. Everyone in the KFTS community shares a responsibility for creating, maintaining, and developing an environment, where difference is valued, equity is sought, and inclusiveness is practiced.

At KFTS, you will find gender neutral facilities and a commitment to identity awareness in the class environment. We have a strong focus on maintaining the mental health of our students through an awareness of neurodiversity, personal space, and respecting boundaries of physical intimacy and unnecessary nudity.
We encourage the students to come to speak to us about any issues they might be experiencing, and if they feel unsafe, with a class or another student or teacher, we commit to investigating and resolving the issue. It is our mission to advance diversity in our school, and continue to assess our progress, in order to ensure that our diversity initiatives are effective.
